Nikki Eddy Consulting
“The world is before you, and you need not take it or leave it as it were when you came in.”

Hi, I'm Nikki, and
I’m here to help.
Most educators want to support LGBTQ+ students and families, but are sometimes confused or afraid to say or do the wrong thing. There are legal requirements, but our student information systems are often inadequate, we aren’t always given clear directives on HOW to support, and because it's a volatile topic in society, educators can feel like we are standing in the middle of a firestorm. Nikki Eddy Consulting offers a friendly approach and solutions to appease these challenges.
What I do for you
It’s not implicit bias training, it’s what comes next
Supporting LGBTQ+ Students with Intersectional Lives
Optimize support for the systems you already have in place
Bullying Prevention and Response Protocols
How this looks
Let me give you practical, solution-oriented approaches and provide useful tools and guidance that you can use right away.
Our students and families don’t live single issue lives, so you need more than one-dimensional solutions.
I call people in, not out, while focusing on improving support systems for marginalized students.
I can help identify shortcomings in existing school information systems and offer solutions and improvements that support teachers and office staff in their roles.
I can work with school counselors and administrators articulate and fine tune MTSS, facilitate PD to reduce bullying, create protocols and processes around administrative and support staff roles, and build teams who are adept at supporting transgender and non-gender conforming students and families.
Testimonials
“This was so regenerative. I felt so burned out after being a GSA advisor for 3 years for a club I built from the ground up in Nashville Public Schools. Thank you so much.”
-School Counselor
“I appreciate the many handouts, links, and resources given that offer suggestions on what activities to do during GSA meetings. I also appreciate the many resources that offer assistance outside of the school community. Lastly, I appreciate the information about how to foster leadership amongst the clubs! That way, it's more student-focused and less work for advisors.”
-New GSA Advisor
“I can honestly say Nikki’s PD was the most useful, thorough, and engaging presentation I have ever attended”
